Position Title: Manager - Direct Tax

Reporting: Head - Taxation

Location: Bangalore

About the Position:

We are looking for a manager who has expert knowledge and understanding of entire gamut of Direct Taxation and is good at business partnering to achieve business goals by supporting Quess Corp's businesses in India, on matters related to direct taxation.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and filing of direct tax returns for Quess Group.

- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.

- Support senior team members in tax planning and advisory projects.

- Assist in responding to tax notices, assessments and inquiries from tax authorities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive tax solutions.

- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely advice

- Preparation of appeal papers for CIT(A)/ DRP & assist in representation before appellate authorities.

- Basic understanding of TP regulation is a plus.

Qualification:

- CA with 3+ years experience.

- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (Google & MS Office).

- Critical thinking & problem solving attitude.

- Result orientation and ability to meet and establish deadlines.

- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, good communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

- Team player.

- Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ongoing and future organizational changes
