The Operations Manager for the Cost Per Meter (CPM) Tools Contract is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of the CPM contract while maintaining operational efficiency at the project site. To assist the Contracts & application manager- Tools, Pune in managing the assigned site projects by effectively leading his team in the development, implementation, and promotion of a proactive safety culture among employees, tools availability for the CPM contracts & all other contracts by managing inventory planning and availability through continuous efficiency improvement projects. Maintain high level customer relationship to keep the contract under customer satisfaction, cost control, revenues, and profit per application and per site, responsible to get the customer approval for monthly performance, Invoices including payment collection responsibility.

This role involves inventory management, team training and development, performance monitoring, customer relationship management, and support for contractual negotiations. The Operations Manager will ensure the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) while driving customer value and ensuring profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Manager are entrusted, but not limited to, the following activities and responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with other stakeholders responsible for Project Deliverables to ensure effective and efficient Contract Execution.
• You will be in direct contact with our customers and products on the field, as well as assisting site / Site Manager with product selection, training, performance and follow ups.
• To continually be reviewing the Contract performance to ensure that customer needs and wants are being met through services delivered and are aligned to those requirements. Identify all Risks and Opportunities identified under the Contract in collaboration with BLM-Tools/Marketing Manager/Contracts & Application Manager and set up Actions to mitigate and capitalize respectively.
• Be close to our customers and their business needs. Secure execution with proper quality level of regular inspections & submission of proposal in co-ordination with Sales team.
• Action plan implementation to improve the operation under your responsibility, with due date, responsible and measure of achievement. Securing and measuring the customer satisfaction
• Approve the stock parts inventory to secure the min-max requirement level.
• Prepare the monthly performance report and shared it with the Customer whenever required. Review monthly Performance and plans so alignment and secure sustainability of the project.
• Training to operators and contract team/Regional team about care and maintenance of Rock tools to get maximum service.

• Always be aware of our competitor activities and analysis in your area and report on its activities.
• Based on experience of products and policy development, to prepare and support in preparation of technical solutions for regional managers/salespeople needed for customer and to win the deal.
• To support regional people when requested in commercial and technical discussions in consultation with Contracts & Application Manager/ BLM
• Drawing up commercial contracts and delivery specifications to end up with contracts fully negotiated, agreed and prepared for signing.
• This position would also be responsible for providing technical feedback on product performance and development of new products, conducting successful trial for new products and provide feedback to the factory for further improvement on products.
• Responsible for all customer complaints of Epiroc tools and application support, will make proposals to, progressively, solve these problems and improve Epiroc image
• Maintain a culture of Safety and Health above all else along with a strong environmental responsibility.
• Strive to ensure EPIROC practices and procedures are the benchmark and innovative, cutting-edge technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications: Minimum 10-12 years in Service of mining equipment/ Contracts execution. Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the drilling or tools industry. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in data analysis, performance monitoring, and reporting. Interactive, good in verbal and written communication, Team building skills. Dare to think new approach and innovative with customer in focus.
