The Contracts and Application Manager will oversee the execution of tools-related contracts & ensure optimal application of technical and operational expertise through continuous improvement to enhance team competence, improve efficiency, and drive profitability. The role demands strong leadership, robust technical knowledge, and the ability to manage contracts and applications in alignment with business goals. The incumbent ensures that correct products and applications are offered to customers, distributors and stockiest and ensure utmost customer satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contracts Management Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to execution and closure. Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with regional teams & other stakeholders to negotiate terms, monitor performance, and resolve contract-related issues. Develop and implement strategies for cost-effective contract execution while maintaining quality standards. Inventory planning and management at contractual sites for optimum deliveries.

2. Technical and Application Expertise

Provide technical guidance on tool applications to ensure optimal usage and performance. Stay updated on advancements in tools and technologies to enhance service delivery. Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that align with project and organizational goals. Conduct technical reviews to ensure proper application and adherence to specifications. Provide information regarding NPD (New Product Development) & CPI (Continuous Product Improvement) processes, when needed. 3. People Management Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Identify and address skill gaps within the team (both Epiroc so for the distributors & stockiest teams through training and development programs.

Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear, measurable objectives for team members. Encourage teamwork, communication, and alignment with organizational goals. 4. Driving Competence and Efficiency Implement best practices and process improvements to boost operational efficiency. Monitor team productivity and identify opportunities for optimization. Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning to enhance technical competence across the team.

5. Profitability and Execution

Align contract execution strategies with profitability targets. Track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Analyse financial data and metrics to identify areas for improvement. Drive initiatives that reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction. 6. Client Engagement

Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

• Provide excellent customer support post-sales to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Colloborate and work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with company goals and customer needs.
• Collect information on market intelligence, fleet, market segmentation, type of tools used, competitors activities and prices. Any other information which could be helpful for business development.
• Handle all customer complaints about Epiroc tools and local support requirement, trouble shoot, and problem solving and improve Epiroc image

Key Skills and Competencies

In-depth understanding of tools, equipment, and their applications. Familiarity with technical specifications, applications, standards, and compliance requirements. Leadership and People Management Strong leadership and team-building abilities. Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team. Expertise in contract negotiation, management, and execution. Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks governing contracts. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Problem-solving mindset to address challenges proactively. Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities. Qualifications Degree in Mining or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 12-15 years in Service of mining equipment/ Contracts execution. Must have team handling experience of at least 5 years.
• Knowledge about underground mining /surface applications /RDT tools would be an added advantage
• A solid technical foundation is essential, with the ability to lead comprehensive root cause analyses and conduct deep technical discussions
