Job Description
Job description
- Build and Test prototypes to evaluate functionality and performance, collaborate with the Engineering team to evaluate functionality and performance.
- Identify and address any Improvements in the prototypes.
- To facilitate the test plan realization (DVPSOR) which is derived from the specifications, document and report testing results and prototype performance.
- To define the test campaign, including the execution of the tests inhouse and at the Mine Test Sites.
- Results analysis for testing of machine/Equipment
- The final test report preparation in accordance with the project procedures, which can be ISO/DIN or based on equivalent International Standard.
- Knowledge of electronic and mechanical instruments used for testing and analysis.
- Good understanding Pressure Mapping for complete hydraulic system
- Knowledge about data communication and telematics
- The ability to understand quickly the functional aspects of the machine operations.
- Good understanding of Diesel engine test requirements (cooling trials, Vibration measurements and Performance analysis)
- Understanding to force/Torque transfer principles on machine. Failure Analysis for Structure parts.
- Cross-domain engineering skills, for example a basic understanding of Electrical engineering
battery vehicle testing knowledge will be preferred.
- CAPEX Budget Planning Execution, Proto Parts Management ,Proto Builds Planning Execution
- Build Concern Reporting Resolution
- Facility maintenance enhancement Responsibility for Proto Shop Operations
- Test Validation ,Performance Endurance Testing ,Planning executing DVP Trials
- Co-ordinating Field Tests for real time application ,reporting Endurance Issue ensure robust closure
- Test Report writing approval ,planning outsourced Test from Regulatory bodies (ARAI, i-CAT, VRDE,)
- Test Resource Planning Management. CAPEX Budget Planning for Test Instruments
- Ensure Products meets Compliance requirement. Tapping Changes in Regulation Norms (BIS, ISO etc) .
- Ensure Products meets Compliance requirement. Tapping Changes in Regulation Norms (BIS, ISO etc).In-depth knowledge about Construction Equipment Products and its working principles. e.g. Engine (mechanical electronic control type), Powertrain and drive System (Wheeled and Tracked system), Hydraulic System (Open Center/ Closed Center, Loop, and Hydrostatic system), Advance Electrical/Electronic control, Cabin control with HVAC and Operator safety and compliance.
- Knowledge about New Product development process, include Proto build and different stages program from Mule>DVP>Validation as per of NPIP process.
- Preparation and execution of DVPR plan as per change matrix and New Development of product
- Product Benchmarking and evaluation for comparative study.
- Data acquisition and basic parameters measurement for development work- Hydraulic Pressure flow mapping, Temperature mapping, Force and weight measurements, air velocity, Voltage Current mapping, Linear displacement measurement, Fuel consumption productivity measurement, frequency amplitude measurement for Vibratory Drum.
- Knowledge about J1939 CAN protocol and its configuration with CAN analyzer logging device for data acquisition.
- Diagnostics Tool use for different machine parameters read and calibration thru ECU firmware flashing.
Experience requirements
- Working experience of around 15 to 20 Years in Construction / Mining Equipment Powertrain / Hydraulics for Mining and Construction Equipment .
Knowledge
- Machine build Development Testing Validation DVP and Compliance
- Instrumentation and data acquisition Endurance Reliability Root Cause Analysis.
- Knowledge of Electrical/ Hydraulic system fault finding and diagnostics in Construction and Mining Equipment is required.
- Highly motivated self driven Engineering professional with an Innovation fueled approach
- Ideally a Creative thinker and at the same time a problem solver in the product development cycle.
Educational requirements
- M.E / M. Tech / B.E. / B. Tech d egree in Mechanical / Agricultural Engineering from reputed institutions
