Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases and test automations for our services.
- Analyzes automated test results to determine test success or failure.
- Creates scripts for test checklists and scenarios from analysis of detailed design specification.
- Contribute on Automation frameworks to have stable and maintainable scripts.
- Records defects found in testing using the approved defect tracking software.
- Performs regression testing of interim releases including service packs or patches.
- Develops a list of items to include on the regression test, execute the test and analyze the results.
- Communicates findings and exchanges information with internal groups.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Automation testing.
- Understanding of a client server and web application environments.
- Advanced scripting capabilities for automation.
- Object oriented programming knowledge and Angular/WDIO technology is a plus.
- Experience creating, maintaining, executing, and analyzing automation test case results.
- API automation/test tooling (Postman, k6, jmeter, Testrail, Swagger)
- Experience with testing event-based platforms using messaging brokers such as Kafka, rabbitmq and/or other queuing systems.
- Prioritize work assignments.
- Proficiency with test and defect tracking tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Work with team members to resolve testing problems.
- Listen and communicate both verbally and in writing to other co-workers and department contacts.
- English speaking and comprehension skills.
- Experience with different cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS or GCP
- Exposure to various testing frameworks for Unit, Integration, Functional, Behavioral-Driven
- Understanding of the shift left testing culture.
- Understanding of what Chaos Engineering is and what are the benefits
