KPIT - BSP Engineer - C/C++ Programming (5-12 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled BSP Engineer with expertise in driver development and multimedia technologies. The candidate will work on board support packages, device drivers, and multimedia components across embedded platforms. This role requires in-depth knowledge of multimedia frameworks, audio/video processing, and system integration for high-performance applications.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and optimize BSP and device drivers for various multimedia components, including audio, video, and camera interfaces.

- Work on multimedia frameworks, including audio processing, video rendering, and camera pipeline integration.

- Design and implement software for multimedia peripherals such as HDMI, MIPI CSI, I2S, and AC'97.

- Optimize multimedia performance, reducing latency and improving efficiency.

- Debug and resolve issues related to multimedia drivers and ensure seamless system integration.

- Work with SOC architecture to enhance multimedia functionality in embedded systems.

- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize performance across different multimedia domains.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards for multimedia applications.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in BSP and driver development with expertise in multimedia components.

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.

- Experience in developing drivers for multimedia peripherals such as audio codecs, video processing units, and camera sensors.

- Deep understanding of multimedia frameworks like OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, and GStreamer.

- Familiarity with hardware debugging tools and profiling utilities for performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with Android, QNX, or Linux for multimedia applications.

- Strong analytical and debugging skills for multimedia performance optimization
