Endpoint Security L1 Engineer ( McAfee EPO / Sentinel One EPO )

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Endpoint Security L1 professional with 2-4 years of overall experience in network security and at least 1 year in managing endpoint security solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with endpoint protection platforms such as McAfee EPO or Sentinel One, and proficiency in administering security measures in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day security, monitoring, and configuration of endpoint solutions, ensuring business continuity and optimal network performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Endpoint Security Management:
Manage and maintain endpoint security solutions, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with security standards.
Deploy, configure, and monitor endpoint security tools such as McAfee EPO and Sentinel One.
Incident & Problem Management:
Incident monitoring, analysis, and response initiatives, including troubleshooting and escalating incidents as required.
Manage and resolve service requests, incident tickets, and change requests in accordance with SLAs.
Troubleshoot network-related issues across Layers 1, 2, and 3 of the OSI model.
Operational Support:
Proactively use network monitoring tools to detect and resolve potential security events before they impact performance.
Conduct regular performance checks on devices, perform periodic audits, and ensure compliance with internal and external policies.
Network and Endpoint Maintenance:
Apply necessary security patches and updates to endpoint security solutions.
Maintain backups of device configurations according to the agreed-upon schedule.
Perform immediate troubleshooting for network or security outages reported by users or sensors.
Policy and Compliance:
Develop, implement, and maintain network security policies, standards, and procedures.
Ensure access and security policies are up-to-date and reflect the latest security protocols.
Vendor and OEM Coordination:
Coordinate with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for TAC (Technical Assistance Center) support to resolve bugs, patches, and updates.
Maintain relationships with third-party vendors to support operational needs.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Conduct daily operational checks and report any issues or anomalies.
Maintain service levels, provide timely resolutions, and oversee the configuration, administration, and monitoring of network security infrastructure 24/7.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in network security, with at least 1 year managing endpoint solutions.
Hands-on experience in managing security tools like McAfee EPO and Sentinel One.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
Strong knowledge of incident management, problem management, and change management.
Ability to apply security patches, monitor performance, and perform configuration changes as required.
Troubleshooting:
Excellent troubleshooting skills across layers 1, 2, and 3 of the OSI model.
Monitoring Tools:
Experience utilizing network monitoring tools to proactively address potential security issues.
