Treasury Accountant - Night Shift

We have an opening for the position of Treasury Clerk for the Mumbai location (Night Shift).

It would be preferred if you have prior work experience working for the USA accounting as a Treasury.

This position is a full-time, hybrid role for a Treasury Clerk. This role is essential in managing bookkeeping and financial transactions, ensuring minimal business risks and adherence to company financial policies. The Treasury Clerk will provide support to the US region, working closely with regional leadership and Corporate teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Record all cash transactions and maintain financial documentation.
• Perform daily cash opening and closing activities.
• Reconcile bank deposits and payments, investigating any discrepancies.
• Respond to customer requests, such as providing statements.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
• Validate vendor bank information and maintain updated records.
• Manage and balance monthly corporate credit card statements.
• Process payment disbursement requests.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports.
• Update payment statuses and coordinate with Project Managers on invoices.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, cash transfers, wire transfers, and vendor creation processes.
• Perform other treasury-related duties as required.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of experience in Treasury Accounting or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification; diploma holders may also apply.
• Understanding of Cash Flow, Payment Processing, Bank Reconciliation and Vendor Creation concepts.
• Experience in cash forecasting and reporting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial transactions.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Reliability and strong work ethic.
