Job Summary
Act as an ambassador for DP World always when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World s Founder s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or related field.
- 4+ years professional experience in software development; you will be able to discuss in depth both the design and your significant contributions to one or more projects
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structure, algorithm, distributed system design, database, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices for deployment and maintenance.
- Understanding of Supply chain and transportation business is a plus.
- Act as an ambassador for DP World always when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World s Founder s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Role-specific Requirements
- Strong coding skills with Ruby on rails language along with expertise in technologies like Delayed Jobs, PouchDB.
- Experience in building and maintaining React screens, using Javascript & Ajax for dynamic and interactive user interfaces.
- REST, JavaScript/Typescript, MySql, MongoDB, ReactJS, Azure, machine learning, geolocation and mapping API.
