Senior UX Designer

Responsibilities and Duties
Lead the design of an innovative internal developer portal (Developer Platform), ensuring it aligns with our technical requirements and user needs.
Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into user-centric design solutions using modern UI development frameworks.
Create intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs through the entire experience lifecycle, from sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to high-fidelity designs.
Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Create user flows, journey maps, and job stories to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless and efficient implementation of design solutions.
Analyze user feedback and conduct usability audits to identify areas for improvement and implement iterative design enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing your work on complex applications, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
Strong understanding of design principles, user experience, user interface, and interaction design, with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and a high-level proficiency in Figma.
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to iterate designs based on user feedback.
Strong expertise in UX design principles, user research methodologies, and interaction design.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in UX/UI design.
Experience in conducting user research and translating user feedback into design decisions.
Experience in UI development using modern front-end frameworks such as React.
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus points if you have
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Familiarity with Design Systems and Atomic Design principles.
Understanding of user analytics and the ability to use data to inform design decisions.
Experience with user testing methodologies and tools.
