Job Description

Position Overview:

- The Prepaid Business Head will be responsible for the strategic development, management, and growth of our prepaid product offerings.

- This senior leadership role requires an individual with a deep understanding of the prepaid card industry, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.

- The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a track record of delivering impactful results in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities :


- Strategic Leadership & Business Growth. Define and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the prepaid business, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

- Develop and lead initiatives to grow the prepaid product portfolio, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue generation.

- Oversee the P&L for the prepaid business, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management.

- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to expand the prepaid product's reach and market share.

- Product Development & Innovation : Work closely with product, technology, and design teams to innovate and enhance prepaid product offerings, ensuring they meet customer needs and market trends.

- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, adapting strategies as necessary to maintain competitive advantage.

- Lead the development of new prepaid card solutions (e.g., virtual cards, gift cards, reloadable prepaid cards) and identify opportunities for product diversification.

- Partnerships & Stakeholder Management. Cultivate and manage key relationships with banking partners, financial institutions, and third-party vendors to enhance product capabilities.

- Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships, ensuring successful collaborations that support the business's growth and customer needs.

- Represent the prepaid business in external forums, including industry events, conferences, and with regulators, as needed.

- Operational Excellence : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the prepaid business, ensuring seamless product delivery, regulatory compliance, and superior customer experience.

- Drive process optimization to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs across the prepaid business.

- Ensure the prepaid business meets regulatory requirements and works closely with legal and compliance teams to manage risk.

- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team, providing direction, support, and professional development opportunities.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the prepaid business division.

- Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and hold the team accountable for achieving business objectives.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:.

- Minimum 10 18 years of experience in the fintech, payments, or financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing prepaid or payment products.

- Proven track record of growing and scaling a prepaid business or similar financial product offerings.

- Deep understanding of regulatory environments governing prepaid products and financial services.

- Experience in managing large-scale partnerships and cross-functional teams.

- Strong P&L management experience, with the ability to drive profitability through strategic planning and execution.

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development and operational efficiency.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

- Data-driven decision-making capabilities with the ability to analyze market trends and customer insights.

- Strong knowledge of financial products, payments technology, and digital wallets.

- High level of business acumen, financial analysis, and risk management capabilities.
