Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive AML and KYC Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, with a focus on identifying and obtaining information on sanctioned government organizations and entities. This role requires the ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment, excellent typing speed, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

AML and KYC Compliance:

• Conduct thorough customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) to ensure compliance with AML and KYC regulations.
• Review and analyze customer information to identify potential risks and report suspicious activities.

Sanctions Screening:

• Identify and obtain information on various sanctioned government organizations and entities, including individuals and organizations listed by bodies such as the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), European Union (EU), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

Shift Work:

• Be available to work in a 24/7 rotational shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous compliance operations.

Typing and Communication:

• Demonstrate a high typing speed to efficiently process and document information.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise information regarding compliance matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in AML and KYC compliance, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and sanctions lists.
• Familiarity with sanctions lists such as OFAC, EU, DFAT, and UNSC.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance-related software.
