Manager - Procurement / Supply Chain Management

Role Description

• Responsible for End to End SCM from receipt of Order till dispatch execution.

• Good knowledge of vendors supplying raw materials, parts & semi assembled goods for manufacturing Room air conditioners.

• Identifying new suppliers of the above

• Good negotiation skill to ensure finalization of favourable price and volume with suppliers.

• Good knowledge in RAC assembly section to ensure timely supply of material for uninterrupted continues production.

• Gook knowledge and experience in import of raw materials from International sources.

• Good knowledge in Import and export procedures, LC and payment terms.

• Managing proper pre-shipping inspection and timely follow up with vendors for smooth supply of materials.

• Should be highly skilled in inventory management for local and import parts

• Planning and advising management on fund management for pan India purchase and international procurement.

• Should be a proactive planner with abilities in delivering & sustaining revenue & profits

• Should possess good interpersonal, communication and co-ordination skills to build a positive relationship with vendors.

Requirements are:

• 10+ years' experience of working on a Procurement (RAC)
• Significant experience with Sourcing
• Significant experience in Room Air Conditioner manufacturing
• Good knowledge of SAP , MS Office and ERP systems
• Strong math and statistics skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good communication abilities
