The Partnership/Sponsorship Sales Lead will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and maintaining partnerships and sponsorship opportunities. This is a desk-based job focused on strategic outreach, research, and client management, with no travel required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understanding Client Requirements:

• Identify the branding and marketing needs of companies.
• Develop tailored partnership/sponsorship plans to meet their objectives.
• Align proposed solutions with conference deliverables and expectations.
• Collaborate with the marketing teams of potential sponsor companies to understand their marketing objectives and requirements.
• Assist in allocating their company budgets effectively by identifying and selecting the most suitable partnership opportunities that align with their goals.
• Ensure the sponsorship amount is confirmed and secured as part of their budget allocation for the event.
• Conduct in-depth research to identify potential partners using social media, Google, and industry reports.
• Create and present compelling partnership/sponsorship proposals.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure mutually beneficial deals.
• Build long-term relationships with sponsors, ensuring satisfaction and repeat engagement.

Requirements:

Education, Experience & Skills Required:

• Professional Experience: Proven track record in partnership/sponsorship sales or related sales roles within the events, marketing, or media industry.
• Educational Background: Possession of relevant education or coursework related to events management is beneficial.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in technical skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency, and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software tools.
• Communication Skills: Exceptionally strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to interact appropriately and professionally with senior professionals in scientific and academic circles.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on preciseness in all tasks and communications.
