CFD Engineer - Coimbatore

Role summary:

The CFD Engineer is responsible for conducting CFD testing activities for SS&E center to verify new product design. Ensuring correctness of test process, suggesting design improvements wherever applicable and result documentation is critical to the role.

Educational Qualification / Experience required :

- Post Graduate Degree in mechanical engineering
- Certification in CFD software
- Experience of 4 to 12 years in using CFD packages along with understanding of CFD concepts, systems and application
- Should possess hands on experience in CFD using Ansys, Fluent and / or other CFD software
- Should possess experience in working with and understanding CFD data
- Should have demonstrated understanding on heat and mass transfer and fluid mechanics

Job Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for conducting CFD testing for optimization of new product design
2. Analyze CFD results and provide feedback to design engineers
3. Provide CFD support to existing products and improvement activities as appropriate
4. Prepare and maintain documentation related to CFD testing and results in a systematic manner
