Application Engineer

Professional Skills:

• Phd/masters in engineering Aerospace, Thermal or Power Engineering
• Very strong fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Numerical Analysis.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in using ANSYS Fluent/CFX for industrial applications involving External- Aero, under water simulations, combustion modeling and Multiphase Analysis.
• Ability to convert engineering problems to analysis problems
• Ability to interact effectively with team members and customers to achieve results.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks/assignments.
• Excellent analytical, visualization and problem-solving skills.
• Interested in working with customers and willing to travel.
• C/Python programming experience would be desirable

Job Description:

• Support Pre-sale and Post Sale Technical activities for ANSYS CFD Solutions
• Pre-Sale Activities
• Lead/Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle such as technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations and Benchmarks
• As a product expert with one or more Ansys products, interact with customers to understand their product design needs and engineering design workflows; analyze how to address customers requirements using Ansys products and platform; articulate Ansys value proposition.
• Technical Support
• Assisting clients using ANSYS CFD products, through email and telephone, in all phases of analysis from correct posing of the initial problem, solution and interpretation of results.
• Work collaboratively with customers to ensure their successful use of ANSYS CFD products, sustain a renewals revenue stream and cultivate opportunities to expand software usage
• Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers.
• Guide in-house efforts in expanding customer accounts.
• Client Training and Consulting
• Training of new clients/prospects at their site or at CoreEL offices
• Development and delivery of Customized training material as per the client request
• Contribute in Strategic Consulting Services to promote new software sales
• Support to Sales and Marketing Activities
• Providing technical assistance to sales team through technical presentations, product demonstrations and solving benchmark problems
• Providing technical assistance to marketing activities by developing examples for new applications, technical presentations and demos at seminars, workshops and to conduct webinars on advanced technologies, new products and feature releases.
• Help Sales team develop value propositions of ANSYS solutions for various industries
• Contribute in strategic market development activities/initiatives
