Service Engineer

Job Purpose: To provide technical support, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for servo drives, PLCs, servo motors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Commissioning: Install and configure servo drives, PLCs, and motion control systems at customer sites.

2. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues to minimize downtime.

3. Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance and maintain service records.

4. Customer Training: Train users on operation and troubleshooting.

5. Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of service activities and generate reports.

6. Feedback:

• Feedback to design team on observations in case of any abnormalities
• Seeking feedback from customer ay the time of closing the call for improvising the quality of service

7. Analysis of service calls to ensure quality of service.

Required Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of servo drive/motor technology.
2. Familiarity with communication protocols.
3. Ability to read Electrical/Electronics schematics and troubleshoot.
4. Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
5. 5-7 years experience in related industrial service roles.
6. Problem-solving and customer-focused approach.
7. Strong communication skills.
8. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
