PopCap is looking for a Development Director to add to our Plants vs. Zombies franchise - who will be coordinating, and planning alongside our leads team for Plants vs. Zombies 2.

As a Development Director, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with Producers, Product Managers, Game Designers, QV teams and additional partners to manage project plan, scope, quality and live service delivery
• Acting as a scrum master for a cross-functional development team(s) through JAAS and Structure Board reporting
• Supporting Producer and Product Manager owned roadmap from estimation, scheduling, execution to live operations analysis
• Establishing a viable Project Plan and schedule to fulfill the objectives of the product roadmap, determines task dependencies, balances scope, assigns tasks and aligns stakeholders to deliver on defined project outcomes
• Creating project schedules that maximize feature quality and scope within resource, financial, and development partner constraints
• Anticipating bottlenecks and risks, provide management escalation, project prioritization, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and drive the process forward
• Pushing for optimizations and continuous process improvement through iteration, supported by data analysis and team trends

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management (preferably game development)
• Deep understanding of JAAS and Structure system
• Demonstrable knowledge of software development life cycles
• Excellent communication skills

Preferences

• Mobile gaming experience (in any discipline)
• Project management certifications or training
• Agile project management process
