Site Manager - Utility Scale Solar Projects

Role & responsibilities

1. Overall Project Site Management: Oversee the entire construction activity of electrical power, substation, MEP, and solar projects, including both technical and commercial aspects.
2. Team and Contractor Management: Ensure work is completed efficiently by contractors and team members.
3. Quality and Safety Compliance: Maintain high standards of site quality and safety.
4. Planning and Execution: Develop and implement plans to meet client and management targets, including the ability to prepare L2 schedules or GANTT charts.
5. Timely Billing and Collection: Ensure all billing and collections are completed on time.
6. Execution Planning and Delivery: Plan and execute the entire project to meet delivery targets, with a proven track record.
7. Coordination: Facilitate coordination between headquarters, clients, and contractors for both execution and commercial aspects.
8. Commercial Focus: Pay special attention to commercial aspects such as timely billing and collections.
9. Business Owner Mindset: Approach the role with the mindset of a business owner rather than an employee.
10. High-Quality Work: Ensure high-quality work to minimize punch points.
11. Consideration for Less Experienced Candidates: Less experienced candidates may be considered for the role of Site Engineer.
12. Candidates with solar power project Site management profile will also be considered.

Preferred candidate profile

B Tech EE with minimum 5 years experience in managing 50 MW + Solar construction projects independently at sites in Rajasthan, or rest of India. Experience in client and commercial handling is a must.

Candidates with lessor experience can also apply for site engineer role.
