Senior Executive - Commercial & Business Development

Role & responsibilities

• Business Growth and Strategy: Support the development of innovative strategies and initiatives to drive business growth, expand market presence, and leverage emerging opportunities.
• Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate on pricing strategy by analyzing customer requirements, historical trends, market conditions, and internal revenue targets. Prepare pricing quotes and proposals for future and current business, projects, and renewals.
• Project Management for Pricing Initiatives: Lead pricing-related projects by setting timelines, defining deliverables, and preparing communications or presentations as required.
• Market Share Analysis and Competitor Insights: Assist with R&D efforts through market analysis and feedback. Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark against similar products and services.
• Market Research and Benchmarking: Conduct research to compare DEL with other airports, identifying trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvement.
• Business Plan and Budget Support: Assist with commercial aspects of Business Plan and Budget preparation, including coordination across departments.
• Data Gathering and Reporting: Collect and present statistical information as needed, creating periodic reports to support strategic decisions.
• Customer Account Management: Engage in customer account management activities as needed, providing support and fostering strong relationships.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of the air cargo industry and its dynamics
• High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze data and create compelling presentations.
• Practical experience in analyzing data and performance metrics, supported by strong analytical and research skills.
• Experience with business planning, forecasting, and conducting thorough business analyses.
• A keen ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey insights clearly and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate and address challenges effectively.
• Competence in creating clear, insightful reports and delivering presentations to various stakeholders.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team
