Sr. Metallurgist / Metallurgist

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct metallurgical testing and analysis of various metals and alloys, including mechanical testing, chemical analysis, and microstructural evaluation.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with NABL accreditation requirements and maintain laboratory accreditation status.
• Prepare and review test reports, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior metallurgists and laboratory technicians.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their testing needs and provide technical solutions and recommendations.
• Supervise and manage laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and procurement of new instruments.
• Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Optimize laboratory processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E. Metallurgy / Diploma Metallurgy with hands on experience and familiarity with NABL requirements.
