Senior Metallurgist

We are hiring for our Production department at Mangaon, Raigad, Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse the properties and behaviours of various metals and alloys to optimize material performance in the processes we do.
• Develop and implement metallurgical processes to improve product quality and efficiency.
• Conduct failure analyses and recommend solutions to enhance material durability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee production of existing metallurgical processes.
• Add value and knowledge to existing processes.
• Help in optimization of metallurgical processes.
• Stay updated on advancements in metallurgy and aerospace material applications.
• Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations in all processes.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E / B. Tech (or higher) in Metallurgy.
• Experience: 7-10 years of total professional experience in metallurgy, with a preference for candidates who have worked for 3+ years in the aerospace sector.
• Strong knowledge of metallic materials, including alloys commonly used in aerospace applications.
• Hands-on experience with metallurgical testing, failure analysis, and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, particularly in aerospace.
