Senior SAP FICO Consultant - AP/AR/GL Modules (6-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and deliver SAP FI-CO module configuration and implementation for clients.

- Manage hands-on configuration in SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Cost Controlling).

- Configure and optimize SAP financial processes, including Sales Order-to-Cash (OTC) process and Procurement Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.

- Manage Bank Communications, Electronic Bank Statement (EBS), and integrate with payment and cash management modules.

- Implement, support, and improve the SAP COPA (Profitability Analysis) module.

- Configure and enhance integration between SAP FI/CO modules and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.)

- Serve as a subject matter expert in the SAP FICO space, providing technical and functional solutions to complex issues.

- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into system specifications.

- Advise on best practices and provide strategic solutions to optimize SAP FICO performance and functionality.

- Lead workshops and client sessions to ensure alignment of business requirements with SAP configuration.

- Support end-to-end integration across finance, controlling, and other business processes (sales, procurement, production).

- Ensure smooth integration of SAP with external systems and third-party applications.

- Provide training and guidance to junior consultants and key users on SAP FICO functionality.

- Offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and improve system efficiency.

- Prepare and deliver documentation, including user manuals and training materials.

- Act as a lead consultant or project manager for SAP FICO implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, functional consultants, and business users.

- Manage project timelines, risks, and ensure project milestones are met.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent).

- SAP certification in FICO modules is a plus.

Experience :

- 6-8 years of SAP system configuration experience with a focus on the FI-CO module.

- Extensive experience in the configuration and implementation of SAP modules, specifically in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Cost Controlling.

- Proven expertise in SAP Sales OTC process, Procurement P2P process, and integration with other modules.

- Experience with COPA (Profitability Analysis), Profit Center Accounting, and Bank Communications (EBS).

- Hands-on experience with SAP system integrations and data migration for FICO processes.

Technical Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO configuration and best practices.

- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
