Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant with 5 to 10 years of experience in implementing and supporting SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Financial Reporting.
This role requires strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and hands-on configuration skills to support finance transformation projects and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities :
SAP FICO Implementation & Support :
- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and support projects for global clients.
- Configure and enhance SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Taxation, Bank Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Internal Orders, Profit Center, Product Costing, COPA).
- Work on SAP S/4HANA Finance migration and conversion projects, ensuring a smooth transition from SAP ECC.
- Provide functional expertise on financial closing processes, tax reporting, and IFRS/local GAAP compliance.
- Develop and execute functional test plans, UAT scripts, and cutover activities.
Business Process Optimization & Solution Design :
- Work closely with finance teams, business analysts, and IT teams to understand financial processes and deliver optimized solutions.
- Design and implement SAP FICO customizations for financial reporting, integration with third-party systems, and process automation.
- Collaborate with SAP ABAP developers to define RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows).
- Provide insights on SAP Central Finance, Treasury, and Group Reporting solutions.
Integration & Data Management :
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, HCM, and SuccessFactors modules.
- Work on SAP FIORI apps, BTP extensions, and financial analytics dashboards.
- Define data migration and reconciliation strategies using SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, or ETL tools.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership :
- Act as a trusted advisor to finance stakeholders, CFOs, and senior business leaders.
- Conduct workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and user training.
- Lead FICO teams in global project delivery, guiding junior consultants and offshore teams.
Required Skills & Experience :
Technical Expertise :
- 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP FICO module with at least 3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
- Expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA.
- Experience in Taxation (GST, VAT, Withholding Tax), Bank Accounting, and Treasury Management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Financial Closing Cockpit, and Group Reporting.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori Apps, BTP, and integration with SAP BPC, SuccessFactors, or third-party systems.

- Ability to lead finance transformation initiatives and drive business impact.
Preferred Qualifications :
- SAP FICO or SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification is a plus.
- Experience with SAP Central Finance, Treasury, or Group Reporting.
