Consultant Solar Projects

RINA is currently recruiting for a Consultant Solar Projects to join its office in Delhi NCR within the Power Division.

Mission.

This role focuses on providing support to engineers in designing solutions, products, machines, systems or structures, respecting time, budget, and quality requirements.

Key Accountabilities.

The candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, and review of the complete DC system.

Responsible for finalizing technical specifications of the project and shall issue a comprehensive RFP accordingly.

Hands-on experience in designing & engineering entire solar plants and should be able to handle the entire engineering process and knowledge of IS, IEC, IEEE standards and applicable regulations.

Responsible to manage the engineering process between the EPC partner and the owner's engineer.

Review the design and engineering of switchyards, including layout, equipment selection, grounding, and protection systems, to ensure reliable power transmission and distribution.

Technical guidance and expertise in AC and DC system design and switchyard design, including power distribution, protection, control, and monitoring systems.

To identify the potential risk and should prepare an adequate risk mitigation strategy to minimize the downtime.

Candidate should keep himself updated of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in AC and DC system design and switchyard design, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the organisation.

Hands on experience and strong know how of Solar Resource Assessment and Energy Yield Estimation and related software.

Education.

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Masters Degree in Renewable Engineering.

Qualifications.

BE/B Tech [minimum] + ME/ M.

tech [preferred] in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, Power system engineering.

Minimum 5-7 years of relevant industry experience in design.

Candidate must have hands-on experience in Detailed Engineering of solar system and evacuation infrastructure.

Candidate must have experience in Engineering Calculations required for Solar plant and substations.

Experience in Design and Engineering of Hybrid Projects (Solar + BESS), Standalone BESS Projects, Floating PV Projects, Agrivoltaics will be an added advantage.

Candidate with Engineering Consulting experience and experience on international Projects will be preferred.
