The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Officer to manage the function for 5000+ employees across India and the Philippines. You will lead ER strategy, ensure compliance with local regulations, and handle complex employee relations issues, including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to maintain a positive work environment and promote fairness and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including grievances, investigations, performance issues, and code of conduct violations.
- Conduct high-risk HR investigations and manage sensitive cases, working closely with Legal and senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with the company's global policies and local labor laws.
- Analyze case trends and recommend strategies to address common issues.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with the company's values.
- Collaborate with HR teams on compliance, audits, and internal controls.
- Represent the company in regional and global ER forums.
Your Profile:
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in Employee Relations, preferably in a multi-national environment, with cross-border exposure.
- Strong knowledge of local labour laws and employment practices. A prior legal background will be an advantage.
- Proven track record in managing ER cases, conducting investigations, and advising senior leaders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
