Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for Master & detailed Production Schedules per assigned schedule and timelines.

- Consolidate BOM.

- Work closely with design team.

- Provide timely & accurate inputs to other stakeholders on production status, production capacity & feasibility and plans.

- Develop, monitor & control daily/weekly/ Monthly equipment production plans.

- Requisite system entries/ indenting etc for material and resources needed

- Ensure smooth shop floor workflow across all work centers.

- Screen & approve inputs from operations, design and procurement. Drive changes & improvements as per production needs.

- Support urgent/ express order management. Work with operations, production, procurement & other departments.

- Drive/participate in daily/weekly/monthly production meetings.

- Ensure ERP discipline & compliance.

- Work with other departments to ensure quick problem issue resolution for ensuring on-time performance.

- Undertake shop floor & material requirement planning.

- Ensure relevant data capture, availability, analysis & inputs to appropriate stakeholders within assigned schedules.

- Drive Lead time/ cycle time improvement through continuous improvements in manufacturing processes including initiative for machine and layout changes etc.

- Undertake initiatives on standardization of production planning processes.

- Undertake initiatives for better housekeeping, preventive maintenance, safety and standardization

- Undertake learning/ skilling up initiatives within production department as per needs.
