Consultant (SA) - Video Developer

Shift Timing: General (10:30am to 7:30pm)

Overview: As a Training Video Developer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and effective video content designed to train our employees. Your work will involve transforming complex information into visually appealing, easy-to-understand video presentations and micro modules that enhance learning and retention.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Development:
   • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand training objectives and content requirements.
   • Research, script, and storyboard video concepts to effectively convey learning objectives.
   • Develop creative approaches to translate technical or complex information into clear and engaging visual narratives.
2. Video Production:
   • Record, edit, and produce high-quality video and audio content using industry-standard software and equipment.
   • Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms and formats (e.g., web, mobile, LMS).
   • Incorporate animations, graphics, and other visual elements to enhance learning outcomes.
3. Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to branding and style guidelines.
   • Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine video content and improve instructional effectiveness.
4. Project Management:
   • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project milestones.
   • Coordinate with internal teams to meet project requirements.
5. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in instructional design and video production.
   • Proactively suggest improvements to video content and production processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Developer, Video Editor, or similar role, with a portfolio of relevant work.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and audio editing tools.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, error-free content.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Multimedia Design, Film Production, Communication, Education, or related field (preferred).
