Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Help maintain accurate financial records by organizing and reconciling general ledger entries.
• Provide data and insights to senior finance staff for management reporting.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Support the preparation of budgets, financial projections, and forecasts.
• Help track budget versus actual performance and assist in identifying variances.
• Collect, analyze, and consolidate financial data for forecasting purposes.
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Process and track expense reports and payments.
• Follow up on overdue payments and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
4. Bank and Cash Management:
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and cash flow tracking.
• Help monitor daily cash balances and assist with cash management reports.
• Process bank transfers and manage petty cash when required.
5. Tax Compliance:
• Assist in preparing tax filings, returns, and related documentation under the supervision of senior staff.
• Help with gathering necessary financial information to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
6. Financial Analysis:
• Support financial analysis efforts by gathering relevant data, preparing spreadsheets, and performing basic financial calculations.
• Assist in evaluating financial performance and suggesting improvements.
7. Audit Preparation:
• Provide necessary documentation and assistance during internal and external audits.
• Help ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records to meet audit requirements.
8. Process Improvement and Automation:
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes.
• Assist in the implementation of finance-related tools and software to enhance efficiency.
9. Administrative Support:
• Assist with ad hoc administrative and finance-related tasks as required by the finance department.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain relevant financial data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced Excel skills a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desired Skills:

• Internship or relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or related areas (preferred).
• Familiarity with ERP systems or accounting software (e.g., Tally , SAP, or similar platforms).
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations (a plus).
