Position description.

Ribbon Communications is looking for a talented Sr Solution Consultant.

The Sr Solution Consultant should promote Packet solutions and Software solution to Service Providers, Utilities and Datacenters.

Responsibilities.

Responsible to position and drive the implementation of Ribbon Communications solutions within the Packet Solution market.

Articulate unique business value in the IP MPLS / MPLS_TP space from the service provider's perspective.

Design and provide Network architecture of Packet Based MPLS_TP /IPMPLS networks from Resiliency, protocol, scale and Management solution perspective.

Lead pre-sales (and assist post-sales when required) activity in the design, build and delivery of networks for specified architectures.

Drive Proof of concepts.

Expert in positioning solutions and products.

Position new products, strategy, and vision for Ribbon Communication Interfaces with Marketing, Commercial and Product Management for business case development.

Perform analysis of network plans developed by the customer (or Ribbon Communications SE) and provide recommendations on viability, implementation strategies, and other options as applicable.

Provide regional Pre-Sales support for Ribbon Communication IP MPLS Routing product lines.

Develop value propositions and solutions based on Ribbon Communications as well as third party products and services to meet customersrequirements.

Develop and identify business opportunities in Packet solutions in the Service Provider space.

Provide and present high quality RFI/RFP/RFQ to support business success.

Lead High / Low Level Design activities with customer.

Contributor to go-to-market plan for product lines.

Experience and Qualification :.

Must have experience in serving local Service Provider or IT Outsourced industry.

Must have recent working knowledge in IP and Packet network solutions, trends, and technologies.

Need to be familiar with business development cycles in the local/regional market, RFX cycles or with pre-sales experience with private operators working with a vendor engaging environment.

Understand Mobile and Fixed Network operators requirements as well as financial models.

Must have good communication and presentation skills, fluent in English and ability to work independently.

Degree in Engineering Electrical /Electronics/Computer Engineering.

10 to 15 Years relevant experience in IP MPLS Network solution architect and customer solutions.

Candidate must have the deep understanding, hands-on, testing and deployment of the following technologies:.

IP MPLS Routing and Switching.

Advanced routing protocols configuration, design and implementation of OSPFv2, OSPFv3 , IS-IS , MPLS (LDP and RSVP).

Knowledge of Segment Routing BGP, including multicast, unicast and VPN families.

Ethernet switching and L2 technologies.

Interoperability testing across multiple vendors.

Hands-on experience with Network Operating systems (IOS, JUNOS, RNOS).

Must have worked as Mobile Backhaul IP Solution architect.

Strong understanding of Network Design and Architecture for Tier1 Service Providers.

IP MPLS, Segment Routing, L3 VPN, SDWAN, MPLS_TP, SDN, Broadband aggregation, Carrier Ethernet, L2/L3 VPN services, IP Core routing, Mobile backhaul( 2G/3G/ 4G and 5G) Software Defined Networks.
