Echo Managed Services - Test Engineer - Manual Testing (4-6 yrs)

Background :

Echo Managed Services is currently driving an ambitious cloud transformation programme of its legacy CRM & Billing platform. Partnering with Salesforce and Accenture, Echo will deliver the first fully cloud SaaS Customer Intelligence and Billing SaaS Solution for the Global Utility Market.

Our aim is to have SaaS that can: enable a single view of a customer, be affordable, be scalable, be highly configurable, be dependable, be easy to use and enable seamless integration.

Key responsibilities :

- Ability to work as individual contributor as well as a team player

- Hands on product / solution testing knowledge are a must.

- Must be experienced in testing the Web and desktop based applications.

- Good testing and Analytical skills.

- Meet schedules and deadlines as per the project requirements.

- Prepare Test Scenarios/Test Cases, Test Data and execute functional and non-functional testing.

- Develop test cases for Regression testing, System testing, error or bug retests.

- Communicate with development and support teams in resolving customer issues.

- Work with development team to investigate and replicate defects.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 4 to 6 yrs. of Experience on Manual Testing- Web Based/Desktop Applications.

- Good understanding of testing methodologies and concepts

- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, test case design, Generation and Test execution.

- Working experience of Quality Center

- Defect Tracking and Reporting skills.

- Well organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize workload.

- Good Communication and Logical Skills.

Non-Technical Skills :

Strong English communications both written and verbal skills to communicate at all levels, including technical & non-technical, internal & external stakeholders and partners of the business.

Estimation skills :

- Ability to manage own workload and priorities

- Status reporting, tracking of progress

- Familiarity or exposure to ITIL
