Echo Managed Services - Data Engineer - ETL/SSIS (4-6 yrs)

Background :

Echo Managed Services is currently driving an ambitious cloud transformation programme of its legacy CRM & Billing platform. Partnering with Salesforce and Accenture, Echo will deliver the first fully cloud SaaS Customer Intelligence and Billing SaaS Solution for the Global Utility Market.

Our aim is to have SaaS that can: enable a single view of a customer, be affordable, be scalable, be highly configurable, be dependable, be easy to use and enable seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Experience in Salesforce data migrations.

- Understanding of the Extract, transform and load (ETL) process.

- Experience in ETL development using SSIS packages.

- Understanding of the end-to-end data migration process.

- Firm understanding of Database schemas/tables/relationships.

- Experience in large volume data transformations.

- Experience of handling large volumes of sensitive data and a firm understanding of data security (GDPR).

Technical Skills :

- 4-6 years experience in ETL/ Data Integration

- Experience with the Force.com Data Loader

- Understanding of Salesforce deployments particularly using Force.com migration tool and Ant

- Working knowledge of source control and particularly GIT

- Understanding of Salesforce design patterns and best practice

- Experience taking requirements and developing design to deliver them

Non-Technical Skills :

Strong English communications both written and verbal skills to communicate at all levels, including technical & non-technical, internal & external stakeholders and partners of the business.

Estimation skills :

- Ability to manage own workload and priorities

- Status reporting, tracking of progress

- Familiarity or exposure to ITIL
