Role Overview :

As the Head of Design at EazyDiner, you will lead and inspire a team of talented designers to craft world-class experiences across our web and mobile platforms. You will define the design vision, ensure alignment with business goals, and foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and user-centric design. This leadership role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for creating meaningful user experiences that resonate with millions of diners.

Key Responsibilities :

Design Leadership :

- Define and drive the overall design vision and strategy for EazyDiner.

- Mentor and lead a team of UX, UI, and visual designers to deliver cohesive, high-quality designs.

- Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Strategic Collaboration :

- Partner closely with product, technology, marketing, and business teams to ensure the design vision aligns with organizational goals.

- Act as the voice of the user in high-level decision-making and advocate for user-first thinking across the organization.

Team Development :

- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing design team.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment where designers thrive.

- Identify skill gaps and provide training or hiring solutions.

User-Centric Design :

- Oversee user research initiatives to understand audience needs, behaviors, and pain points.

- Translate insights into impactful design strategies and experiences.

- Champion accessibility and inclusivity in all design outputs.

Continuous Innovation :

- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the table.

- Regularly evaluate and refine design processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields.

- 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.

- A strong portfolio showcasing design leadership, strategic thinking, and user-centered design excellence.

- Expertise in tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and similar.

- Proven experience designing for mobile-first platforms (iOS and Android) and responsive web applications.

- Strong knowledge of user research methodologies, interaction design, and information architecture.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in the hospitality or dining tech industry.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Deep understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design.

- Proven track record of scaling and nurturing design teams in high-growth environments.
