UX Architect - Adobe Creative Suite (8-15 yrs)

Job Description :

- 8-12 years in design-related fields, with a strong emphasis on product design, visual design, brand design, and UI/UX, particularly within the banking software domain.

- Must have managed an entire product lifecycle from concept to release.

Experience : 10+ years designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish, with at least 3 years of management experience.

Position Overview :

As a UX Architect , you will play a strategic role in shaping the user experience of digital products by creating and managing robust design systems. With over five years of hands-on experience as a Design System Expert, you will drive consistency, scalability, and innovation in design, ensuring user-centric solutions across platforms.

This role requires expertise in design systems, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability to deliver impactful digital experiences. Prior experience with Trade Finance products and process is a must, as it will enable a deeper understanding of the domain-specific workflows and user needs essential for designing intuitive and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

User-Centered Design :

- Drive the design process from user research to final delivery, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly digital solutions.

Design Systems Ownership :

- Develop, implement, and maintain scalable design systems to ensure design consistency and efficiency.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate design systems into the product lifecycle effectively.

- Document and communicate design standards, patterns, and components for cross-functional use.

Interaction Design :

- Craft seamless interactions that meet both user and business needs, ensuring usability and engagement.

Visual Design :

- Ensure visually appealing, accessible, and brand-consistent interfaces across digital products.

Usability Testing :

- Conduct usability testing sessions, analyse feedback, and iterate designs for optimal user satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design efforts with business objectives.

Mentorship :

- Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence.

Design Governance :

- Establish and uphold design guidelines, ensuring compliance with accessibility and usability standards.

Additional Responsibilities :

- Advocate and implement Design Thinking methodologies across projects.

- Develop content strategies aligned with user needs and business goals.

- Optimize information architecture to enhance content discoverability.

- Promote accessibility best practices to ensure inclusive design solutions.

- Enhance design operations to streamline workflows and processes.

Required Experience and Skills :

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Industry Expertise :

- Minimum of 12+ years as a UX Designer, with significant experience as a Design System Expert (5+ years at least) in enterprise applications.

Portfolio :

- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design systems and UX design (mandatory for consideration).

Technical Proficiency :

- Advanced skills in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

Design System Mastery :

- Proven ability to develop, scale, and maintain design systems, ensuring alignment with product and brand goals.

Methodologies & Research :

- In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices. Experience in user research and usability testing.

BFSI Sector Experience :

- Familiarity with designing for platforms within the BFSI industry is required.

Communication & Leadership :

- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across teams and organizational levels.

Technical Awareness :

- Basic understanding of front-end development principles and responsive design is a plus.

Innovation & Trends :

- Up-to-date with the latest UX and design system trends, tools, and technologies.
