Qualification - Degree / Diploma in Computer Science

Experience: Min 9 years

Job Description:

Education:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Retail Management experience or equivalent retail qualifications;
• Experience in IT roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position.
• Proven track record in managing IT projects, systems, and teams

Age (bracket): 35-45 years

Experience: 9-15 year's

Skills:

• Manage the operation and development of IT infrastructure business systems.
• Recommending modifications and developing IT solutions in line with business needs;
• Ensuring that systems and processes are well documented;
• Provide support for all software applications used by the company;
• Oversee troubleshooting, system backups/ recovery, and archiving activities ; and
• Be the primary point of contact and liaise with all vendors.

Reports To: Directors of the Company

Purpose:

Manage and develop the information management infrastructure of the company by building and leading a team to maintain, expand and optimize investment in information technology with specific reference to the Epicor suite of products. Work with the senior management to update and streamline the information gathering, maintaining and analysis procedures as to enable best utilization of the existing and future investments in Information Technology.

Primary Duties:

• Overall responsibility for the maintenance of all IT and related infrastructure for the group; this currently includes-

- Shop N Save Supermarket along with all bakeries and restaurant

- Ratsun Hotels

- Shop N Save Supermarket (NZ)

- Shop N Save Supermarket (AUS)

• Align the activities of the IT department with the policy guidelines provided by the government.
• Provide level- 1 support for all software applications used by Kalabo Investment Ltd.
• Lead and guide the IT team in the performance of their various duties.
• Monitoring all IT systems, budgets and project plans, making recommendations for new or upgraded technologies.
• Ensuring maintenance of the overall infrastructure of the Companys servers, firewalls, network applications and network connectivity between all sites.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and/or cost savings within IT.
• Installation of servers and maintenance of all software applications used by the company.
• Managing Data Backup, Recovery, maintenance and assets of the company related to IT.
• Managing all types of Application Software, Backup, Programming and Network issues.
• Contract/ Vendor negotiation on AMC, Upgradations and new purchases.
• Manage Cisco 5510 Hardware Firewall.
• Manage Patriot Security System: Alarm and CCTV Monitoring Software
• Map new or changed business processes to the software
• Managing the complete IT infrastructure of the company (Hardware, Network and Software)
• Managing all Data Backup, Recovery, maintenance and assets of the company related to IT.
• Handling SAP Administration and coordinating between and different modules of SAP.
• Managing all types of Application and Software, Backup, Programming and Network issues.
• Resolve user problems by remote login.
• Contract/ Vendor negotiation on AMC, Upgradations and new purchases.
• Manage Fortigate 80 C Hardware Firewall.
• Managing all Data Backup, Recovery, maintenance and assets of the company related to IT.
• Managing the complete IT infrastructure of the company (Hardware, Network and Software)
• Managing all types of Application Software, Backup, Programming and Networking issues.
• Manage the McAfee Antivirus.
• Define the security policies of the Server for the users.
• Keeping the communication network of the Organization and Branches up and running.
• Resolve user problems by remote login.
• Contract/ Vendor negotiation on AMC, Upgradations and new purchases.
• Manage the Mail server.
• Manage Cisco ASA 5510 Hardware Firewall.
• Managing the IBM 810
• Manage the Symantec Endpoint Server and keep it up-to-date with definitions.
• Define the security policies of the Symantec Endpoint for the users.
• Maintenance and Management of Subversion (SVN) server to manage the Central Data Repository of the Organization.
• Keeping the communication network of the Organization up and running.
• Manage the Linux Based in house mail server serving 155 users.
• Manage Cyberoam Hardware Firewall.
• Developing client specific reports for various modules, Create DDIC , developing interface programs to upload to data from legacy system to SAP R/3. LSMW program so as to transfer data from legacy system to sap system, making changes to the existing scripts according to the clients requirement.
• Understanding of requirement and functional space.
• Designed the database by eliminating the risk for inconsistency and redundancy of records.
• Developed the projects with user- friendly interfaces considering all levels of user.
• Maintained the quality of the software using proper test procedure.

Information Resources Team Management

1. Build, lead and mentor a team to maintain and manage the Information Management Infrastructure of the company.

2. Work with the Accounts and Finance team to ensure that the IT infrastructure is geared to provide the best possible information within the shortest possible time and to this end regularly analyze the reporting requirements and ensure that these are met wherever feasible.

1. Ensure that all activities are in accordance with the policies and procedures of Kalabo Investment Limited T/a Shop N Save Supermarket.

2. Ensure maintenance of highest professional and ethical standards as viewed by the external world of Customers, Suppliers and other contacts and the internal world of stall.

Salary Offered (In hand per month)

Experience (9 -10 years) - Rs 130000 fixed for 3 years.

Experience (11- 12 years) - Rs 150000 fixed for 3 years.

Experience (13-14 years) - Rs 180000 fixed for 3 years.
