Finance Manager(Fiji)

Role & responsibilities
A. Financial Planning and Analysis:
1. Develop and manage budgets, forecast and financial models.2. Analyse financial performance and provide insight for decision making.3. Identify and address financial risk and opportunities.
B. Financial Reporting:
1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statement, reports and analysis.2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirement.3. Present financial result to management and stakeholder.
C. Cash Flow and Treasury Management
1. Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity.2. Overseas investment, banking relationship and financial strategies.3. Optimize working capital and resource allocation.
D. Cost Management and Efficiency:
1. Identify cost saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures.2. Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
E. Compliance and Risk Management:
1. Ensure adherence to tax regulation, financial laws and internal policies.2. Manager audits and liaise with external auditors.3. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard asset.
F. Team Leadership:
1. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth.2. Delegate task and ensure effective workflow within the department.3. Promote a collaborative and high performance work environment.
G. Strategic Contribution:
1. Provide financial guidance to support business decisions.2. Participate in strategic planning, mergers, acquisition or expansion initiative.3. Monitor market trends and economic conditions to inform strategies.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Proven experience in financial management, budgeting and forecasting.2. Proficiency in financial software, ERP system and advanced excel skills.3. Strong problem- solving abilities and attention to details.4. Strategic thinking and ability to work in as fast paced environment.5. Passport mandatory.
