We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager Business Development, who will play a key role in overseeing the business development activities with a primary focus on identifying, preparing, and submitting tenders for new and existing projects. Your expertise will directly contribute to the companys growth and success in securing new contracts and opportunities within the building and railway and T&D sectors.
• Research and identify new business opportunities in the building and railway construction sectors by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. • Lead the preparation and submission of tenders for various projects, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within the prescribed deadlines. • Review tender specifications, terms, and conditions, ensuring all submissions are aligned with company capabilities and objectives. • Ensure that tenders comply with all legal, technical, and regulatory requirements, and meet the financial and operational standards of Durga Construction. • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to gather pricing, technical specifications, and delivery timelines for tender submissions. • Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping of all tender documents, contracts, and communications. Maintain up-to-date records for future reference and audits. • Ensure that all tender documents, including pricing, technical details, and legal terms, are accurate and up-to-date. • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth. • Monitor and assess competitors’ bids and strategies to ensure Durga Construction remains competitive in the tendering process. • Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to gather information for the preparation of tenders and business proposals. • Assist project teams in the early stages of project development, helping to understand tender requirements and aligning business development strategies accordingly. • Provide support during the negotiation phase of tendering to ensure the best possible terms are secured for the company. • Follow up with clients and stakeholders on the status of submitted tenders and actively engage in post-tender discussions.
