- Developing business with customers in India and acting as our representative in the region, especially in the market Laboratory
- Acquiring new customers and providing quotations to customers
- Providing technical support to customers and prospects
- Consistent market/competition monitoring and analysis
- Developing and implementing sales/marketing plans and activities
- Creating presentations. Preparing and participating in exhibitions
- Regular contact and exchange with head office in Germany
Profile of the ideal candidate
- A passion for sales
- Qualifications: Education in engineering or sales with a good technical background, ideally in air compressors & vacuum pumps or related products
- Experience in sales and independent customer acquisition working from a home office environment
- Experience in Indian Laboratory and Instrumentation Market
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-reliant, reliable, and pro-active
- Accustomed to frequent travel
- Fluent in English (basic German optional)
