AutoCAD and BIM Draftsman

AutoCAD & BIM Draftsman (JOB CODE : KSA-1505)

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree in architecture, Engineering, ITI, Diploma or similar filed.
• Certification in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in MEP quantity surveying, preferably
• Candidates having GCC region experience are preferred for familiarity with local market conditions.
• Experience in large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects, demonstrating an ability to manage complex design challenges.
• Knowledge of construction and engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work under pressure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create and manage complex 3D models using AutoCAD and BIM software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in design execution.
• Develop and maintain BIM documentation, including workflows, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency across projects.
• Oversee the integration of project data into BIM for improved visualization and analysis, supporting informed decision-making.
• Act as a liaison between project stakeholders and the BIM team, ensuring clear communication of project requirements and expectations.
• Perform quality assurance checks on BIM models and drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes.
• Creating detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints using AutoCAD software.
• Converting hand-drawn sketches and 2D models into 3D models using AutoCAD.
• Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback and design changes.
• Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and material take-offs.
