Assistant Manager - Branch Sales Support - Freight Forwarding

• Assisting sales team in getting customer on board
• Join Sales call with respective sales personal as and when required
• Making quotations to customers from CRM system.
• Follow up with operations team once the nomination is received from customer.
• Submit SOP and quote (with the help of sales/pricing) to operation and billing department for execution
• Update the customer with shipment status on timely manner in critical
• Follow up with customers on quotations sent.
• Submit reports and Data analysis to management as required.
• Escalate/ Resolve any issue related to shipment execution with pricing, sales, operation or finance team.
• Visiting customer along with the sales team for Monthly / Quarterly Reviews
• Circulating MOM of these meetings and ensuring that the action points are completed
• Cross selling and deep selling to existing corporate customers
• Payment follow ups with corporate customers
• Managing and tracking Sales related reports for the region with National Sales Support
• Seek approvals for Low margin (less than 10%) Sales and maintaining the Report for approval process in timely manner
• Ensure CRM data sanity
• Maintain the quote logger
• Work on Sales Lead Generation for respective branch
• Filling Credit applications in the system and maintain credit tracker

Qualification

• Graduate with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Sound knowledge of Ocean Freight and Air Freight industry.
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Advanced sales and customer service skills
• Process centric
• Analytical skills
• Excellent PowerPoint and Data analytical skills
• Good with multi-tasking.
