Business Systems Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

System Analysis & Optimization:

• Analyze, evaluate, and document business processes related to marketing systems such as automation platforms (HubSpot, etc.), email marketing tools, and customer data platforms (CDPs).
• Identify opportunities to improve system functionality and streamline marketing operations, including campaign management, lead nurturing, and customersegmentation.
• Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to design and implement enhancements, integrations, and new marketing technologies.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Partner with marketing, sales, customer success, and IT teams to gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Conduct workshops, meetings, and presentations to ensure stakeholder alignment on system needs and project objectives.
• Work with external vendors to assess and implement third-party marketing solutions when necessary.

Project Management:

• Lead and manage projects related to marketing system implementations, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
• Support marketing system-related initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
• Oversee the project lifecycle, from initial scoping to testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

Testing & Training:

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that system enhancements meet marketing and business requirements.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to end users, providing ongoing support to marketing teams on system functionality.
• Troubleshoot system-related issues and provide resolutions to ensure continuous system availability and performance.

Data Management & Reporting:

• Collaborate with data analysts and marketing operations teams to ensure data integrity and proper usage of customer data within marketing systems.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for tracking campaign performance, marketing ROI, and customer engagement metrics.
• Support marketing teams with data analysis and insights to inform decisions and improve campaign effectiveness.

Compliance & Security:

• Ensure marketing systems adhere to company policies and external regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other data privacy regulations.
• Work with IT security teams to implement best practices and security measures for marketing data and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in marketing systems or digital marketing technologies.
• Proficiency with Hubspot marketing Hub or other automation platforms (e.g.Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g.,Hubspot, Salesforce,).
• Strong understanding of marketing processes, including campaign management, lead generation, and customer lifecycle management.
• Proven experience in project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, etc.) or CRM tools (Salesforce, Hubspot).
• Knowledge of web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and digital marketing technologies (SEO, SEM, social media management).
• Experience in Agile methodologies or working in an Agile environment
