- The Java Developer will design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications to support business requirements

- Follow approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing

- Successful candidates will be part of a development team working in object-oriented, multi-tiered systems using Java/J2EE and other development platforms

- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for application development within an application server environment

- This role requires the use of skills as an experienced professional with an understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures

- Proven hands-on Software Development experience

- Experinece in AWS

- Proven working experience in Java development

- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms

- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals

- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL ( Hibernate)

- Experience in the Spring Framework

- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)

- Experience with test-driven development

- Design and develop microservices/APIs using either Java/Spring boot

- Collaborate with clients, architects, and application architectures to understand the operational objectives and purpose of the future system integration.

- Understand the points of integration between the different systems and highlight the potential risks associated with the delivery of solutions.

- Collaborate with Functional Designers and Developers in order to find best solutions.

- Produce detailed functional and technical specifications.

- Assist in producing solutions with threat assessments and associated security awareness.
