National Health Authority (NHA) is the apex body responsible for implementing Indias flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme called Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana & has been entrusted with the role of designing strategy, building technological infrastructure and

implementation of National Digital Health Mission to create a National Digital Health Eco-system. National Health Authority is the successor of the National Health Agency, which was functioning as a registered society since 23rd May, 2018.NHA is governed by a Governing Board chaired by the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare.

Role & responsibilities

• Adoption and implementation of standard treatment workflows.
• Responsible for development of STGs and liaison with the expert committees for inputs to finalize treatment guidelines for covered packages.
• Prepare IT integration documents of Standard Treatment Guidelines for implementation in the Transaction Management System.
• Conduct workshops and training activities for States for awareness and implementation of STGs.
• Perform data analysis and assess evaluation trends on utilization of STGs.
• Undertake routine Operational task to ensure seamless working of Medical Cell.
• Updation of expert database in the divisions record.
• Ensuring experts are provided timely remuneration for the tasks performed.
• Development of HBP of AB PM-JAY at the Central level in coordination with other agencies.
• Co-ordination of Technical Inputs from experts of NHA and co-ordination with all the States/ UT's on Health Benefit

Preferred candidate profile

Medical graduate + MBA /MHA/PGHHM/MPH/M.Sc./Master's in Health Policy/Health Finance/Health Economics or equivalent with minimum 5years of work experience
