The Global Finance & Accounting (F&A) Transformation Manager will drive large-scale finance transformation initiatives to optimize processes, systems, and capabilities across a service-based global organization This role focuses on enhancing efficiency, automation, and standardization of F&A operations while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals The position requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and deep knowledge of finance operations within service organizations
The Global Finance & Accounting (F&A) Transformation Manager will report to the Digitalization and Development Director and have a dotted line to the respective Project Director or Project Sponsor.
Locations: internal candidates from various locations will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Finance Transformation Leadership
Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives across key F&A functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) & Management Reporting
Drive standardization, automation, and process optimization to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations
Develop and implement best practices for financial workflows, accounting processes, and reporting frameworks globally
Project Management
Oversee finance transformation projects, automation initiatives and process redesign
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements
Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
Process Improvement & Automation
Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in current finance processes to streamline operations and reduce manual effort
Drive continuous improvement by creating agile processes that align with evolving business needs and service models
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with global finance teams, business unit leaders, IT, and external vendors to deliver transformation objectives
Engage with senior leadership to align transformation goals with organizational strategy
Communicate project status, financial benefits, and ROI to stakeholders with clarity and precision
Change Management & Training
Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and tools
Provide training and support to finance teams to build capabilities and ensure successful implementation of transformed processes
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives
Prepare post-implementation reviews and analysis to ensure sustainability of improvements and ROI realization
Drive data-driven insights for decision-making and continuous optimization

About you
We are seeking a candidate with:
Education:
Post Graduation degree in Finance (MBA, CA, CFA), Accounting, Business, or related fields
PMP & Agile Certified candidates will be added advantage
Experience:
10+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Accounting Operations, or Process Improvement roles, ideally in a service-based organization
A minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance Transformation is required .
Proven track record of delivering global transformation projects
Experience working in complex, global, and matrixed environment
