About The Role.
As a proactive and strategic Medical Device Planner, the role is responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and administration of resources for medical device certification, training, and audits in both local and global assignments.
This position is essential for ensuring an efficient revenue pipeline by anticipating resource needs and planning 3-6 months ahead.
Strong communication skills are necessary for engaging with internal stakeholders?auditors, sales, and operations?and external clients.
The role requires a blend of commercial acumen, technical knowledge, and organizational skills to drive business growth and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities.
Resource Planning and Scheduling.
Develops and maintains a proactive planning strategy for medical resources, aligning with both Local Unit and global demands, to ensure optimal resource utilization and smooth operation.
Provisions planning and scheduling based on Code Approvals and client requirements, focusing on DNVs medical device portfolio.
Works closely with auditors and operations to coordinate schedules and ensure alignment with business targets.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication.
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with internal teams (sales, operations, and auditors) to align planning efforts with business goals.
Engages directly with clients to understand their requirements, offering tailored solutions in line with DNV standards and certifications (e g, EU regulations, ISO, MDSAP).
Sales and Revenue Generation Support.
Assists in achieving sales revenue targets in Australia and other designated markets through the support of certification, audits, and training.
Identifies and capitalizes on new business opportunities, including long-term partnerships with medical device clients.
Provides backend support for sales activities, from quotation to invoicing, ensuring seamless transitions and high customer satisfaction.
Data Management and Proposal Generation.
Maintains an accurate and organized database of leads and client interactions, utilizing referrals, networking, direct mail, and meetings to generate qualified leads.
Prepares proposals that meet Notified Body and/or product sector requirements, ensuring they align with DNVs high standards.
Performance and Business Development.
Tracks and reports sales and operational activities, including calls, proposals, and closed sales, to optimize planning and business development efforts.
Contributes to the design and execution of educational programs and marketing plans aimed at increasing client engagement and knowledge of DNV offerings.
Compliance and Integrity.
Upholds DNVs Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct, strictly adhering to internal standards, policies, and procedures to maintain client trust and regulatory compliance.

About You.
Graduate in Commerce, Sciences or related discipline.
10 Years Plus of experience with Notified Body/ Certification Body desirable.
Proven experience in resource planning, preferably in the medical device or healthcare sector.
Proficiency in Excel and other relevant planning tools; familiarity with regulatory requirements (e g, ISO, EU MDR).
Strong interpersonal skills for both internal and client-facing interactions.
Ability to understand and support revenue goals, optimizing resources to meet client demands.
