Assistant Manager Data Analytics

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular validation and cleansing processes. Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business.
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Gather and organize data from various internal systems, including production, sales, and supply chain databases.
• Pricing & Variance Analysis
• Data Analysis - Research customers opinions, feedback
• Analyze production metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Evaluate sales data to assess market performance and customer preferences.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
• Assess the impact on Back Office work streams and quickly assimilate the project knowledge and design direction.
• Communicate and provide options from the project for impacts to policies and procedures that impact the supported back-office functioning.
• Communicate regularly with business partners about the impacts of upcoming changes and project deadlines.
• Manage risks and issues and escalate as appropriate.
• Provide representation on the processes, transactional flows, and policy and controls to the project/orders.
• Identify inefficiencies in manufacturing and export processes through data analysis.
• Recommend and implement data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in manufacturing or export-oriented industries.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the jewellery industry and international trade regulations is a plus.
