System Administrator

Role & responsibilities

Network Management and Support:

• Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network operating systems, including Cisco and Fortigate devices.
• Manage network resources, ensuring optimal performance and security, including the configuration of switches, routers, and access points.Database Management:
• Administer and support SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance

Back-Up and Disaster Recovery:

• Develop, implement, and maintain backup strategies to ensure data is secure and can be quickly restored in case of a disaster.
• Design and manage disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.

Technical Strategy and Policy Development:

• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and strategies to enhance system performance, security, and compliance.

Technical Testing Programs:

• Develop and operate comprehensive technical testing programs to ensure system reliability and performance.

Vendor Coordination:

• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely and effective service delivery, including managing service calls and overseeing vendor contracts.

Firewall and Security Management:

• Maintain and update firewall policies to protect the organizations network from unauthorized access and threats.

IT Equipment Maintenance (AMC):

• Manage annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for all IT equipment, ensuring timely servicing and repair.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT equipment, ensuring all assets are accounted for and properly managed.

Site Management:

• Oversee the management of IT infrastructure across all company sites, ensuring consistency and reliability of services.

Server Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, including virtual machines (VMs), and manage backup and disaster recovery processes.

CCTV Management

• Manage & maintenance of CCTV at the company site.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with 4- 6 years experience handling the above profile preferably from a manufacturing setup.
