Job Description

Develop and Conduct EV Testing Procedures : Design and implement testing procedures for electric vehicles, including performance, safety, durability, and efficiency tests. Ensure all tests are conducted in compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Oversee Homologation Processes : Manage the homologation process for electric vehicles, including preparing documentation, coordinating with regulatory bodies, and ensuring all vehicles meet the necessary certification requirements for different markets.
Analyze Test Data and Prepare Reports : Collect and analyze test data to evaluate vehicle performance and compliance with standards. Prepare detailed reports summarizing test results, identifying any areas of non-compliance, and recommending necessary improvements.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with engineering, product development, and quality assurance teams to ensure testing procedures align with product specifications and regulatory requirements. Provide feedback on design modifications needed to meet compliance standards.
Develop Training Materials on EV Testing and Homologation : Create comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and practical guides, on EV testing and homologation processes. Educate students and professionals on the importance of testing and certification in the EV industry.
Stay Updated on Regulatory Changes : Keep abreast of the latest regulatory changes and updates related to EV testing and homologation. Ensure all testing procedures and documentation are updated to reflect new regulations and standards.
Conduct Hands-On Training Sessions : Lead hands-on training sessions and workshops that provide practical experience in EV testing and homologation. Guide learners through testing procedures, data analysis, and certification processes.
Ensure Quality and Safety Compliance : Ensure that all testing activities are conducted safely and in compliance with industry standards and best practices. Educate students on safety protocols and the importance of quality assurance in the EV industry.
Engage with Industry Partners : Collaborate with industry partners, testing facilities, and regulatory bodies to enhance the quality and relevance of DIYguru s educational programs. Incorporate industry feedback and insights into training content.
Support Continuous Improvement Initiatives : Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing and homologation procedures. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in testing operations.

Requirements

A bachelor s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive testing, homologation, or regulatory compliance, preferably within the electric vehicle industry.
Strong knowledge of EV technology, vehicle testing procedures, homologation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Experience in developing and conducting testing protocols, analyzing test data, and preparing technical reports.
Excellent understanding of global EV homologation processes and certification requirements.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
Experience in creating educational materials and delivering training on technical topics.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and passionate about education and sustainable technology.
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
