• The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting our Citrix solutions, including XenDesktop and XenApp, as well as F5 BIG-IP load balancers
• The Citrix and F5 Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency, security, and availability of our applications and services

Responsibilities:

• Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp:Design, implement, and manage Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp environments.Configure and optimize virtual desktops and applications for performance and scalability.
• F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers:Design and implement F5 BIG-IP load balancing solutions for applications and services.Configure and manage F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager) and GTM (Global Traffic Manager) modules.
• Citrix NetScaler Integration:Integrate Citrix NetScaler with Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp for load balancing and secure remote access.Configure NetScaler Gateway for external access to Citrix environments.
• Performance Monitoring:Monitor the performance of Citrix and F5 environments, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.Implement optimizations to enhance the overall efficiency of application delivery.
• Security and Compliance:Implement security measures for Citrix and F5 environments, including access controls and encryption.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices.
• Troubleshooting and Support:Provide advanced-level support for Citrix and F5-related incidents.Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for Citrix and F5 configurations, changes, and procedures.Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine tasks.
• Collaboration:Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and other IT professionals.Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate Citrix and F5 with other technologies.
• Training and Knowledge Transfer:Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and other IT staff.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Citrix and F5 technologies.
