• The EDC Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog platform
• The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in data cataloging and metadata management

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Administration:Administer and manage the Informatica EDC platform, including installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Ensure the platform's availability, performance, and security
• Metadata Management:Oversee the cataloging and classification of data assets using Informatica EDC
• Collaborate with data stewards and business users to enhance metadata quality
• User Support:Provide support to EDC users, assisting with metadata search, tagging, and discovery
• Conduct user training sessions and workshops to promote effective use of the platform
• Integration and Collaboration:Integrate Informatica EDC with other data management and analytics tools
• Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective data governance
• Data Lineage and Impact Analysis:Configure and maintain data lineage and impact analysis capabilities within Informatica EDC
• Support users in understanding the flow and impact of data across the organization
• Security Management:Implement and manage security policies and access controls for the EDC platform
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards
• Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for EDC configurations, policies, and procedures
• Document best practices for metadata management and data discovery
• Performance Monitoring:Monitor and analyze the performance of Informatica EDC
• Implement performance tuning strategies to optimize the platform
